POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE
The Associated Food & Petroleum Dealers Political Action Committee is the “Voice of the Food, Beverage & Petroleum Industry” in the political process, and needs the financial support of all AFPD members.
The AFPD receives numerous requests each week for donations from campaign committees of state lawmakers, and candidates for state office, who are sympathetic to, and understand the issues and problems facing our membership. The AFPD PAC cannot respond to these requests if it does not have funds in its PAC treasury. The AFPD PAC allows food, beverage and petroleum retailers’ voices’ to be heard when laws that affect them are being considered by the legislature.
All member donations to the AFPD PAC are used solely for candidates for office. None of the money is used for administrative costs.
We need your continued support so that we can continue to battle legislative issues that affect your bottom line. Today more than ever retailers are facing critical issues that will have a lasting effect on how you do business. Click here to find a list of legislative issues which AFPD monitors, opposes or supports on your behalf. We are constantly in communication with legislators to advise them of the impact legislation has on our retailers.
We need your help in these political efforts and hope that you can contribute funds to the PAC. Please make your donation by personal check or money order (corporate checks are not allowed).
